Fact-check findings
What an automated fact-checker found when it re-read uniBTC against the sources the page cites. Only the most recent review is shown.
These findings are produced by an automated reviewer, and its results vary between runs: the same page, checked three times on the same day, came back with 15%, 20% and 34% of its claims disputed, mostly because each run extracted a different number of claims. Treat what follows as leads, not rulings.
“Disputed” means the reviewer could not reconcile the claim with the evidence it cited. It does not mean the claim is false. “Unverifiable” means no reachable source settled it either way.
Nothing here changes the page on its own. A proposed correction is applied only after a human moderator approves it; until then the page reads as it did when reviewed.
disputed
2 claimsThe reviewer could not reconcile the claim with the evidence it cited. This is a lead, not a ruling that the claim is false.
- #1[disputed][awaiting moderator]in section: ZachXBT Flagging
“According to reporting based on ZachXBT's Investigations Telegram channel, he traced losses and identified addresses linked to the protocol's treasury multisig and personal wallets.”
reviewerZachXBT traced losses and identified addresses linked to the protocol's treasury multisig and personal wallets in connection with the Bedrock exploitThe ZachXBT findings belong to the Truflation incident; the page attributes them to Bedrock. The whole section's premise is unsupported.Proposed correction (not yet applied)The cited cryptonews.net roundup mentions ZachXBT only in connection with a separate incident, the Truflation attack, not the Bedrock exploit. - #2[disputed][awaiting moderator]in section: ZachXBT Flagging
“On-chain investigator ZachXBT flagged uniBTC and the Bedrock exploit in connection with his broader analysis of the September 2024 incident.”
reviewerZachXBT flagged uniBTC/Bedrock exploit in his analysisNo source seen ties ZachXBT to the Bedrock exploit. Recommend removing the section or the sentence. A correction text is not proposed because none is supported.
