Audit log

Every state-changing event for Robinhood Chain Rug-Pull Syndicate: moderation decisions on community submissions, plus corrections and updates from the news pipeline. URL-based decisions are designed to carry three independent witnesses — the original source, an Internet Archive snapshot, and a Solana memo signed by our publicly-disclosed publisher key. Archive coverage is still being backfilled, so each decision below reports its own snapshot status rather than assuming one exists.

It is designed to support tokenized stocks, DeFi products, and memecoin activity. Because it is permissionless, third parties can deploy tokens without Robinhood's approval or verification.\n\nPons V2 is the primary token launchpad on Robinhood Chain, launched August 4, 2026. It uses a bonding curve pricing mechanism and graduates tokens to locked Uniswap V4 pools. A notable feature allows token creators to exempt up to 32 wallet addresses from the platform's anti-sniping tax — a loophole that allegedly served as the primary technical mechanism exploited by the syndicate. As of late September 2026, Pons V2 remained unaudited, with security reviews by SB Security, Dingbats, and Pashov Audit Group still in progress.\n\nThe entity described here refers not to Robinhood Markets, Inc. or Robinhood Chain itself, but to the unidentified group or groups that allegedly operated coordinated rug-pull schemes on the chain. Wazz stated that the true total is likely higher, as two additional unlinked serial operations were also identified on the chain but were excluded from the $18.43 million figure.\n\nThe three largest individual extractions identified were CRUMBS (approximately $3.12 million, involving 92 wallets), LEGS (approximately $2.9 million, involving 77 wallets), and PINK (approximately $1.44 million, involving 125 wallets). Two additional tokens named in the investigation include DEED and DRAFT. Nearly all extracted proceeds were reportedly converted to ETH, making them resistant to freezing measures.","heading":"Alleged Scheme: Scale and Financial Impact","severity":"critical","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Wazz traces 53 Robinhood Chain token launches to $18M rug-pull syndicate (Crypto Briefing)","type":"news_article","url":"https://cryptobriefing.com/wazz-robinhood-chain-rug-pull-18m/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"53 Robinhood Chain Token Launches Linked to Rug-Pull Operation (FinanceFeeds)","type":"news_article","url":"https://financefeeds.com/53-robinhood-chain-token-launches-linked-to-rug-pull-operation-at-least-18-43m-extracted/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Analyst Exposes $18.43M Robinhood Chain Memecoin Rug Pull Ring (CryptoTimes)","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.cryptotimes.io/2026/09/28/analyst-exposes-18-43m-robinhood-chain-memecoin-rug-pull-ring/"}]},{"content":"According to Wazz's analysis, the alleged syndicate used networks of between 70 and 200 wallet addresses per launch to collectively acquire over 70% of each token's total supply at or immediately after deployment, primarily through the Pons V2 platform.\n\nThe alleged mechanism exploited Pons V2's anti-sniping protection: the platform imposes a tax starting at 99% on purchases made within seconds of a token launch, decreasing to zero after approximately five seconds. Creators may exempt up to 32 addresses from this tax. According to Wazz, the syndicate exempted between 15 and 25 wallets per launch; a single transaction then purchased tokens for all exempted wallets simultaneously, emptying the bonding curve and securing approximately 82% to 86% of total supply before public trading began.\n\nA commercial bundling contract, created August 28, 2026, was identified as having facilitated opening buys for 25 of the 53 launches.\n\nThe operation was allegedly self-financing: proceeds from each completed rug pull were routed within seconds into wallets used to fund the next launch. Wazz also identified what were described as 'fake launches' — misleading pre-launch campaigns designed to build investor interest before revealing actual contract addresses.","heading":"Alleged Methodology: Wallet Bundling and Tax Exemption Exploitation","severity":"critical","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Analyst Exposes $18.43M Robinhood Chain Memecoin Rug Pull Ring (CryptoTimes)","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.cryptotimes.io/2026/09/28/analyst-exposes-18-43m-robinhood-chain-memecoin-rug-pull-ring/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Inside the $18 Million Rug Pull Rocking Robinhood Chain (CoinCentral)","type":"news_article","url":"https://coincentral.com/inside-the-18-million-rug-pull-rocking-robinhood-chain"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Robinhood Chain Hit by Coordinated $18M Memecoin Fraud Operation (Blockonomi)","type":"news_article","url":"https://blockonomi.com/robinhood-chain-hit-by-coordinated-18m-memecoin-fraud-operation"}]},{"content":"The Block, a Tier 2 crypto news outlet, independently reviewed Robinhood Chain on-chain data and published partial corroboration of Wazz's findings on September 27, 2026. The Block confirmed that creators of 10 of the 53 Pons V2 launches listed by Wazz had exempted specific wallets from the anti-sniping tax, and that those wallets subsequently acquired 82% to 86% of each token's supply. The Block also independently traced a fund flow from 179.88 ETH swept out of wallets tied to the DRAFT launch to the wallet that funded the DEED launch, approximately 40 minutes before DEED went live — corroborating Wazz's linkage methodology.\n\nThe 43 remaining launches in Wazz's list have not been independently verified by a third party as of the date of this report. How verification works. The “Row integrity” check above is computed in your browser — your machine recomputes the SHA-256 of the canonical bytes and compares against the stored hash. No avoid.net server can fake that check. The “full verify” link goes one level deeper: your browser fetches the on-chain transaction from a Solana RPC node and confirms the same hash is in the memo. If you don’t want to trust either avoid.net or the public RPC, run the CLI verifier on your own machine — python -m src.verify_decision <event_id>.
