Audit log

Every state-changing event for CyberLeek / CYBERLEEK Solana Token: moderation decisions on community submissions, plus corrections and updates from the news pipeline. URL-based decisions are designed to carry three independent witnesses — the original source, an Internet Archive snapshot, and a Solana memo signed by our publicly-disclosed publisher key. Archive coverage is still being backfilled, so each decision below reports its own snapshot status rather than assuming one exists.

The domain behind the project was registered on August 14, 2026; the token first traded on August 15, 2026; and the associated GTA 6 gameplay footage broke publicly on August 18, 2026. According to on-chain analysis published by Bitquery, this four-day sequencing — domain, token, then viral leak — indicates deliberate coordination by whoever controls the operation. The token carries a total supply of approximately 1 billion CYBERLEEK, trades primarily on Raydium on the Solana network, and has been listed on several centralized exchanges including LBank. The project's public identity is entirely pseudonymous; no real-name founders, corporate entity, legal address, or development team have been publicly verified.","heading":"Overview and Origin","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"CYBERLEEK: The GTA VI Leak Was a Token Launch — Bitquery","type":"research","url":"https://bitquery.io/investigations/cyberleek-gta6-leak-coin"},{"credibility":2,"name":"CyberLeek Price Today — Solana Tracker","type":"on_chain","url":"https://www.solanatracker.io/tokens/ApZuxdpzMrbEYTGEzeY9afh5pj9d6qPRJCTgQYiipbKg"},{"credibility":2,"name":"What Is the Cyberleek Crypto Coin and How Is It Connected to GTA 6? — CoinCodex","type":"news_article","url":"https://coincodex.com/article/90758/cyberleek-crypto-coin/"}]},{"content":"Beginning around August 18, 2026, an anonymous entity called CyberLeek began distributing alleged unreleased GTA 6 gameplay footage and map imagery. The leaked material was watermarked with QR codes linking to the CYBERLEEK token, making the crypto promotion an embedded part of the leak distribution. CyberLeek also published a manifesto — referred to as the 'CYBERLEEK Edict' — demanding Rockstar Games and the broader video game industry end digital pre-orders, stop paid DLC locked behind paywalls for content already on disk, and guarantee offline playable modes for single-player games. The group claimed its activism was 'not a cash grab,' a characterization that gaming press including GamesRadar+ and Kotaku characterized skeptically given the simultaneous token promotion. On August 20, 2026, Take-Two Interactive filed DMCA subpoena petitions in the Southern District of New York, seeking identifying information from Microsoft (regarding content posted to GitHub) and from Discord (targeting accounts including 'CYBERLEEK,' 'CINEMATICROCKSTAR,' 'Surfer24k,' and servers 'Odysee.gg' and 'DarkViperAU editors server'). The subpoenas required compliance by September 4, 2026. As of the time of this investigation, no criminal charges have been filed and no individual has been publicly identified as responsible for the leaks.","heading":"Connection to GTA 6 Leaks and Legal Proceedings","severity":"critical","sources":[{"credibility":1,"name":"Take-Two Subpoenas Microsoft And Discord Over GTA 6 Leaks — Kotaku","type":"news_article","url":"https://kotaku.com/take-two-subpoenas-microsoft-and-discord-records-related-to-spread-of-gta-6-leaks-2000726633"},{"credibility":1,"name":"GTA 6 Leaks: Rockstar Games Subpoenas Microsoft, Discord for Data — Variety","type":"news_article","url":"https://variety.com/2026/gaming/news/gta-6-leaks-rockstar-subpoenas-microsoft-discord-1236840176/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Apparent GTA 6 leak smells of crypto scam, links to a manifesto demanding digital rights — GamesRadar+","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.gamesradar.com/games/grand-theft-auto/apparent-gta-6-leak-smells-of-crypto-scam-links-to-a-manifesto-demanding-digital-rights-this-is-not-a-cash-grab/"},{"credibility":1,"name":"GTA 6 Leaks Increasingly Seem To Be Just A Big Crypto Scam — Kotaku","type":"news_article","url":"https://kotaku.com/gta-6-leaks-crypto-scam-2000726671"}]},{"content":"Kotaku, citing GTAForums analyst 'Vice Cit,' reported that the project operator invested approximately $29,000 to seed the token and generated an estimated $30,000 in transaction fees on the first day of trading alone, with fees continuing to accrue daily thereafter. Bleap Finance reported that the creator-linked wallet contributed roughly 330 SOL and 730 million CYBERLEEK tokens to the liquidity pool at launch, with the trading fee mechanism generating an estimated $40,000 to $60,000 for operators over the initial period. Purchased tokens were also reportedly used in a private CyberLeek Discord server to vote on which GTA 6 clip would be leaked next, creating a financial incentive structure tied directly to the continued release of allegedly copyrighted material. The Bitquery on-chain investigation found that the five largest early traders collectively profited approximately $158,000, but found no direct link between those wallets and the deployer, concluding those gains came from automated sniping bots rather than insider coordination with the token creator. The token reached an all-time high of approximately $0.034 on August 23, 2026 — a price roughly 5,000% above its initial trading range — before declining sharply. As of late August 2026 the token was trading approximately 45–63% below that peak depending on the source consulted.","heading":"Alleged Financial Scheme and Token Mechanics","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":1,"name":"GTA 6 Leaks Increasingly Seem To Be Just A Big Crypto Scam — Kotaku","type":"news_article","url":"https://kotaku.com/gta-6-leaks-crypto-scam-2000726671"},{"credibility":2,"name":"CYBERLEEK: The GTA VI Leak Was a Token Launch — Bitquery","type":"research","url":"https://bitquery.io/investigations/cyberleek-gta6-leak-coin"},{"credibility":2,"name":"CyberLeek Crypto Explained: GTA 6 Links, Risks, Price Hype and Red Flags — Bleap Finance","type":"research","url":"https://www.bleap.finance/en-us/blog/cyberleek-crypto-gta-6-token"},{"credibility":2,"name":"CYBERLEEK Meme Coin Explodes 1,400% Amid GTA VI Leak Controversy — CryptoRank","type":"news_article","url":"https://cryptorank.io/news/feed/ac4b2-gta-vi-cyberleek-meme-coin-rally"}]},{"content":"Several technical safeguards are in place that reduce — though do not eliminate — the risk of a conventional rug pull. Mint authority and freeze authority have both been revoked, preventing the deployer from minting additional tokens or freezing user wallets. An independent on-chain analysis published by CoinSpectator on August 23, 2026, found that the creator's token balance is now zero, that 270 million tokens originally held by the creator were permanently burned, and that 98.4% of the Raydium liquidity pool position is permanently locked. GeckoTerminal's automated rug checker reported a security score of 69.61 for the pool, with 99.72% of pool liquidity locked. The analysis concluded that a technical rug pull by the deployer is not currently possible given these on-chain restrictions. However, analysts and financial media consistently note that the token remains highly speculative: its price is entirely dependent on continued viral attention from the GTA 6 leak narrative, no security audit of the smart contract by a reputable firm has been published, the team is anonymous, there is no whitepaper or roadmap, and the token has no product utility. The CoinSpectator analysis also noted one wallet pre-purchased before the public token announcement and currently controls approximately 0.72% of supply.","heading":"On-Chain Risk Assessment","severity":"medium","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"I went through CYBERLEEK's blockchain data to see if the creator can actually rug it — CoinSpectator","type":"on_chain","url":"https://coinspectator.com/mainstream/2026/08/23/i-went-through-cyberleeks-blockchain-data-to-see-if-the-creator-can-actually-rug-it-full-writeup-included/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Is CyberLeek a Scam? SKG Director General Moritz Katzner stated: 'Do not send these people your money, no matter how much sympathy you may feel for their actions.' Katzner characterized the leaks as 'illegal' and said the group 'feel[s] for everyone at Rockstar having to go through this ordeal again,' noting that using illegal means 'does nothing to protect our right to keep using what we paid for.' SKG's stated concern was that CyberLeek's methods — including tying the leaks to a meme coin — would damage the credibility of legitimate gamer-rights advocacy with policymakers. Gaming press coverage was broadly skeptical of CyberLeek's framing. GamesRadar+ published a headline characterizing the leak as smelling 'of crypto scam' on August 18, 2026. Kotaku ran multiple pieces questioning the consumer-rights framing, and published findings from community researcher 'Vice Cit' characterizing the gamer-rights messaging as 'virtue signaling to gain public support' while the operator generated fee income from token trades.","heading":"Community and Industry Criticism","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":1,"name":"Stop Killing Games Condemns 'Destructive' GTA 6 Leakers: 'Do Not Send These People Your Money' — Kotaku","type":"news_article","url":"https://kotaku.com/gta-6-leaks-stop-killing-games-skg-cyberleek-meme-coin-2000725806"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Stop Killing Games Condemns GTA 6 Leaks And Repudiates Cyberleek — Gameranx","type":"news_article","url":"https://gameranx.com/updates/id/563749/article/stop-killing-games-condemns-gta-6-leaks-and-repudiates-cyberleek/"},{"credibility":1,"name":"GTA 6 Leaks Increasingly Seem To Be Just A Big Crypto Scam — Kotaku","type":"news_article","url":"https://kotaku.com/gta-6-leaks-crypto-scam-2000726671"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Apparent GTA 6 leak smells of crypto scam — GamesRadar+","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.gamesradar.com/games/grand-theft-auto/apparent-gta-6-leak-smells-of-crypto-scam-links-to-a-manifesto-demanding-digital-rights-this-is-not-a-cash-grab/"}]},{"content":"No founder name, corporate identity, jurisdiction, or legal entity has been publicly verified. The Kotaku reporting noted that Take-Two's legal strategy of subpoenaing Microsoft and Discord could, if successful, expose identifying information about the wallet operator — given that KYC data held by exchanges like KuCoin (reportedly used in early fund movements) could also be sought via subpoena. As of this investigation, no regulatory body has taken action directly against the token or its operator, and no individual has been charged in connection with the crypto scheme itself. The legal proceedings are focused on the copyright infringement aspects of the GTA 6 leaks, not the token. Analysts at Bitquery concluded that none of the five largest token profiteers traced back to the deployer, meaning the primary financial beneficiaries from the price action appear to be independent automated trading bots rather than the token's creator.","heading":"Token Anonymity and Accountability Risk","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"What Is CyberLeek Crypto? How verification works. The “Row integrity” check above is computed in your browser — your machine recomputes the SHA-256 of the canonical bytes and compares against the stored hash. No avoid.net server can fake that check. The “full verify” link goes one level deeper: your browser fetches the on-chain transaction from a Solana RPC node and confirms the same hash is in the memo. If you don’t want to trust either avoid.net or the public RPC, run the CLI verifier on your own machine — python -m src.verify_decision <event_id>.
