Audit log

Every state-changing event for Clock In Hackathon: moderation decisions on community submissions, plus corrections and updates from the news pipeline. URL-based decisions are designed to carry three independent witnesses — the original source, an Internet Archive snapshot, and a Solana memo signed by our publicly-disclosed publisher key. Archive coverage is still being backfilled, so each decision below reports its own snapshot status rather than assuming one exists.

The event is organized by Solana Mobile and run in partnership with RadiantsDAO, which hosts an associated Discord community and weekly technical workshops. According to the official announcement, submissions opened September 8, 2026 and closed October 8, 2026, with winners to be announced in early November 2026. Listed judges include Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko, Helius co-founder and CEO Mert Mumtaz, and several Solana Foundation and Solana Mobile staff. Requirements for entry include a functional Android APK, a public GitHub repository, a demo video, and a pitch deck; a physical Seeker device is not required to participate, as teams may build and test on a standard Android device or emulator. No independent reporting reviewed identifies the hackathon or its organizers as fraudulent, nor does it appear in any regulatory, law-enforcement, or court record found in this research.","heading":"Overview and Organizer","severity":"low","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Solana Mobile — \"CLOCK IN: The Solana Mobile Hackathon\" (official blog post)","type":"official","url":"https://solanamobile.com/blog/clock-in-the-solana-mobile-hackathon"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Crypto Briefing — \"Solana Mobile's CLOCK IN hackathon offers $135,000 in prizes for mobile dApp builders\"","type":"news_article","url":"https://cryptobriefing.com/solana-mobile-clock-in-hackathon-135000-prizes/"}]},{"content":"Solana Mobile's official page states that the hackathon's $135,000 total is split into a $125,000 USDC pool across ten placing teams (first place $30,000, descending to $5,000 for sixth through tenth place) plus a separate $10,000 prize payable in the SKR token for the best integration of SKR into a submitted app. Crypto Briefing's coverage of the same event describes a materially different structure — ten \"grand prize\" winners at $10,000 each and five honorable mentions at $5,000 each, alongside the same $10,000 SKR bonus — which does not match the tiered breakdown on the official page. Because the official organizer page is the primary source for its own event, it is treated here as the more reliable account, and the discrepancy in secondary coverage is noted as a data-quality flag rather than evidence of any wrongdoing by the organizer.","heading":"Prize Structure — Conflicting Secondary Reporting","severity":"low","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Solana Mobile — \"CLOCK IN: The Solana Mobile Hackathon\" (official blog post)","type":"official","url":"https://solanamobile.com/blog/clock-in-the-solana-mobile-hackathon"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Crypto Briefing — \"Solana Mobile's CLOCK IN hackathon offers $135,000 in prizes for mobile dApp builders\"","type":"news_article","url":"https://cryptobriefing.com/solana-mobile-clock-in-hackathon-135000-prizes/"},{"credibility":3,"name":"Coinfomania — \"Solana's Clock In hackathon launches, promising $135K\"","type":"news_article","url":"https://coinfomania.com/solanas-clock-in-hackathon-launches-promising-135k/"}]},{"content":"Part of the hackathon's prize pool (the $10,000 integration bonus) is denominated in SKR, Solana Mobile's token tied to its Seeker phone. Reporting indicates Solana Mobile launched SKR around January 21, 2026 via an airdrop to Seeker owners, with a 90-day claim window for more than 100,000 eligible users. Multiple outlets reported the token's price falling substantially after the airdrop as recipients sold their allocations; figures across sources are inconsistent (reported launch and subsequent prices range roughly from $0.006 to $0.06 depending on the outlet and date), and a later report put the token down more than 34% from its January 2026 peak. This volatility does not reflect on the legitimacy of the hackathon itself but is relevant context for anyone evaluating the real-world value of the SKR-denominated portion of the prize at the time it is paid.","heading":"SKR Token — Price Volatility Relevant to the Bonus Prize","severity":"medium","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Forklog — \"Solana Mobile launches SKR airdrop for Seeker owners\"","type":"news_article","url":"https://forklog.com/en/solana-mobile-launches-skr-airdrop-for-seeker-owners/"},{"credibility":3,"name":"Merca2 — SKR token TVL and price rally coverage","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.merca2.es/2026/08/02/token-skr-solana-tvl-rally-2429148/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"The Block — SKR price page","type":"research","url":"https://www.theblock.co/price/seeker"}]},{"content":"No source found in this research alleges that the CLOCK IN hackathon has been impersonated by phishing campaigns or fake \"claim your prize\" sites. However, hackathons and token airdrops in the crypto industry are a common template for impersonation scams, in which bad actors create lookalike domains or social media posts directing users to connect a wallet and sign a malicious approval transaction. This is a generic, industry-wide risk pattern and is not a specific finding against CLOCK IN, Solana Mobile, or RadiantsDAO. How verification works. The “Row integrity” check above is computed in your browser — your machine recomputes the SHA-256 of the canonical bytes and compares against the stored hash. No avoid.net server can fake that check. The “full verify” link goes one level deeper: your browser fetches the on-chain transaction from a Solana RPC node and confirms the same hash is in the memo. If you don’t want to trust either avoid.net or the public RPC, run the CLI verifier on your own machine — python -m src.verify_decision <event_id>.
