Audit log
Every state-changing event for BitRobot: moderation decisions on community submissions, plus corrections and updates from the news pipeline. URL-based decisions are designed to carry three independent witnesses — the original source, an Internet Archive snapshot, and a Solana memo signed by our publicly-disclosed publisher key. Archive coverage is still being backfilled, so each decision below reports its own snapshot status rather than assuming one exists.

According to a CryptoSlate press release dated February 13, 2025, FrodoBots Lab raised $6 million in a seed round led by Protocol VC, bringing its total funding to $8 million; other listed investors included Big Brain Holdings, Fabric Ventures, Zee Prime Capital, Tioga Capital, Sfermion, Solana Ventures, and Virtuals Protocol, with angel investment from Solana co-founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal, along with founders from other DePIN projects such as Aethir and Gensyn. Blockworks separately reported the raise as $6 million for the Solana-based robotics network. BitRobot's architecture is organized into 'subnets,' each contributing a specific data or compute output toward embodied AI research; one cited example, Seesaw (SN/02), collects egocentric video through mobile tasks. The BitRobot whitepaper was reported as co-authored by Michael Cho, Jonathan Victor, and Juan Benet.","heading":"Origins, Funding, and Structure","severity":"low","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"FrodoBots Lab Raises $8M to Launch BitRobot press release (CryptoSlate)","type":"news_article","url":"https://cryptoslate.com/press-releases/frodobots-lab-raises-8m-to-launch-bitrobot-a-crypto-network-of-subnets-for-embodied-ai-research/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Frodobots raises $6M for Solana-based robotics network","type":"news_article","url":"https://blockworks.co/news/robotics-startup-fundraise-ai-network"}]},{"content":"Jonathan Victor is identified in a CoinDesk Consensus speaker profile as President of the BitRobot Foundation, described as leading efforts to build an 'open robotics lab.' Other reporting describes him as a co-founder of Ansa Research and a former Filecoin ecosystem lead who co-authored the BitRobot whitepaper alongside Michael Cho and Juan Benet (founder of Protocol Labs, which co-developed BitRobot). Michael Cho is reported as a co-founder of FrodoBots Lab, the entity that built and operates BitRobot; sources vary on whether he is described as sole founder or co-founder, and some list brothers Michael and Sam Cho as founders. No adverse legal, regulatory, or reputational findings were identified for any named individual in connection with BitRobot; any such claim would be allegation-only and no credible source currently supports one.","heading":"Leadership","severity":"low","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"CoinDesk Consensus speaker profile — Jonathan Victor","type":"other","url":"https://consensus.coindesk.com/agenda/speaker/-jonathan-victor"}]},{"content":"As of the most recent available guides, BitRobot has not launched a tradable token. Participants accumulate non-transferable points called 'Bolts' across BitRobot's subnets. A Bitrue airdrop guide states that BitRobot has not guaranteed a future token airdrop or confirmed that Bolts will convert into cryptocurrency, and that project documentation states Bolts do not entitle holders to a future token allocation. Several third-party 'airdrop guide' sites (DropsTab, CoinLaunch, usethebitcoin.com) promote BitRobot's points program but are affiliate/marketing-style publications of low independent reliability and should not be treated as authoritative on token mechanics. The project raised approximately $8 million in seed funding from investors including Protocol VC, Solana Ventures, and angel investors Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal, and remains in a pre-token phase. How verification works. The “Row integrity” check above is computed in your browser — your machine recomputes the SHA-256 of the canonical bytes and compares against the stored hash. No avoid.net server can fake that check. The “full verify” link goes one level deeper: your browser fetches the on-chain transaction from a Solana RPC node and confirms the same hash is in the memo. If you don’t want to trust either avoid.net or the public RPC, run the CLI verifier on your own machine —
python -m src.verify_decision <event_id>.
