Audit log
Every state-changing event for Aleo: moderation decisions on community submissions, plus corrections and updates from the news pipeline. URL-based decisions are designed to carry three independent witnesses — the original source, an Internet Archive snapshot, and a Solana memo signed by our publicly-disclosed publisher key. Archive coverage is still being backfilled, so each decision below reports its own snapshot status rather than assuming one exists.

That post was not independently retrieved or verified here. Searches for Aleo shutdown, wind-down or layoffs in 2026 returned no news reports or official announcements of any such event. Company-profile aggregators (low reliability) list roughly 146 to 150 employees with no reported reduction. In late June 2026 Kraken migrated its ALEO listing from BNB Chain to Aleo's native network, which indicates ongoing exchange support of the native chain. It listed DeFi TVL as $0. BingX data last updated 2026-09-01 showed a price near $0.01 and market cap near $21.9M. An iO Charts page (modified July 2026) showed a one-year return of about -91.8% and chain TVL of $0. A Revolut page reports an all-time high on 28 September 2024 and an all-time low on 6 June 2026, with circulating supply of about 1.20 billion against a 5 billion maximum. These figures are consistent with the claim of a large FDV decline and minimal tracked TVL, but no reliable 2026 fee or revenue figures were found, and exchange/aggregator figures differ between snapshots. Note that the TVL of $0 may reflect limited DeFi tracking by these dashboards rather than the absence of activity, since Aleo is a privacy chain.","heading":"Token performance, TVL and fees","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"DefiLlama: Aleo chain","type":"research","url":"https://defillama.com/chain/aleo"},{"credibility":3,"name":"BingX ALEO price","type":"other","url":"https://bingx.com/ja/price/aleo"},{"credibility":3,"name":"iO Charts: Aleo","type":"research","url":"https://iocharts.io/fr/crypto/aleo"},{"credibility":3,"name":"Revolut ALEO/DKK price page","type":"other","url":"https://www.revolut.com/en-DK/crypto/price/aleo/?amount=25"}]},{"content":"Aleo raised a $28M Series A in April 2021 (investors reportedly including a16z, Coinbase Ventures, Galaxy Digital, Polychain Capital) and a $200M Series B announced on 2022-02-07, led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Kora Management, with Tiger Global, Sea Capital, a16z, Slow Ventures and Samsung participating. The Series A label is not in the cited article, and the $228M total is aggregator-dependent. Market-data figures and the Revolut ATH/ATL dates could not be re-verified (DefiLlama returned 403; Revolut is a volatile retail page). The page is appropriately hedged about the unverified shutdown rumour. One data defect: the Forklog archive_url points to a different (Aztec) article. The ATL claim in the timeline is attributed to Kraken, which does not mention it, and the October 2026 timeline entry cites DefiLlama for a social post.anchorfailed

How verification works. The “Row integrity” check above is computed in your browser — your machine recomputes the SHA-256 of the canonical bytes and compares against the stored hash. No avoid.net server can fake that check. The “full verify” link goes one level deeper: your browser fetches the on-chain transaction from a Solana RPC node and confirms the same hash is in the memo. If you don’t want to trust either avoid.net or the public RPC, run the CLI verifier on your own machine —
python -m src.verify_decision <event_id>.
