Verify a decision

Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.

How verification works

  1. We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction.
  2. We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
  3. You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>

Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

Core claims about Swift Wave Capital's domains, founding-story contradictions, MLM mechanics, and the April 2026 NZ FMA listing were independently corroborated via WTF-Reviews, the FMA/IOSCO alert record, Washington State DFI's alert page, and CryptoTimes. However, the page contains two clear misattribution errors in the DOJ-action section: it credits the 276-arrests/nine-compound/$701M crackdown to 'Operation Level Up' when the page's own cited Chainalysis source ties that dollar figure to the separate Scam Center Strike Force (Operation Level Up's own documented result is a different figure, ~503 domains seized and $562M in prevented losses); and it credits 'the DOJ and Chainalysis' with tracing the $92 million in cross-chain movement, when the page's own cited CryptoTimes source — and the page's own section 8 — credit that tracing to on-chain investigator ZachXBT. There is also an internal date inconsistency: the timeline places the BG Wealth/DSJ launch in January 2025, while the cited CryptoTimes source says mid-2025. Several MLM compensation figures and the 'BG Wealth used a paid actor' comparison could not be verified because BehindMLM's own Swift Wave Capital article was inaccessible (HTTP 403) and no independent source confirms a paid actor for BG Wealth specifically (that story applies to HyperVerse). No accepted community submissions were present to review.","score_delta":0,"sequence_num":4,"submission_content_hash":null,"submission_id":null,"submission_kind":null,"submission_valence":null,"v":1}
