Verify a decision
Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.
How verification works
- We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (
payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction. - We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
- You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is
AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

It is distinct from Ramp Network (ramp.network), a separate, older crypto fiat on/off-ramp infrastructure company based in Europe; the two are unrelated companies that share a name. Ramp has raised multiple funding rounds led by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, with reported valuations rising from roughly $3.9 billion in 2021 to figures in the $16 billion to $44 billion-plus range reported through 2025 and 2026, according to multiple financial press reports. The Block reported in April 2026 that Ramp rolled out zero-fee conversions between USDT and US dollars across its product suite, with settlement available on Ethereum, Solana, and the Tether-backed Plasma network. Separately, Solana Compass and other crypto trade outlets reported that Ramp opened stablecoin accounts, supporting USDC and USDT settlement across seven networks including Solana, to its stated base of more than 70,000 business customers, built on infrastructure from Stripe-owned Bridge (issuance) and Privy (wallets). These moves give Ramp a direct interest in Solana-based stablecoin adoption, which is the evident context for a Ramp representative speaking on a stablecoin panel at a Solana developer conference; AVOID.NET could not independently verify, from primary sources, the specific named individual's current title or employment at Ramp, and that detail should be treated as unconfirmed pending verification against Ramp's own staff listings or LinkedIn.","heading":"Stablecoin and crypto expansion","severity":"low","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"The Block: Ramp rolls out $0 conversions between USDT and dollars","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.theblock.co/news/business/2026-04-21-peter-thiel-backed-unicorn-ramp-rolls-out-0-conversions-between-usdt-and-dollars-across-product-suite-398354"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Solana Compass: Ramp opens stablecoin accounts to 70,000+ business customers","type":"news_article","url":"https://solanacompass.com/news/ramp-opens-stablecoin-accounts-to-all-70000-business-customers-with-solana-among-seven-supported-networks"}]},{"content":"ProPublica reported in 2025 that senior officials at the US General Services Administration (GSA) met with Ramp executives at least four times before a federal SmartPay payments contract opportunity was made public, and that Federal Acquisition Service commissioner Josh Gruenbaum, who came to GSA from the private equity firm KKR with no prior government experience, organized some of those meetings. Ethics experts quoted in the reporting called the early access unusual and potentially problematic; the GSA stated it refutes any suggestion of unfair or preferential contracting practices. Rep. Gerald Connolly subsequently sent a letter to GSA requesting documents on Ramp's bid, characterizing the arrangement as an alleged example of improper access that bypassed normal public bidding protocols. The SmartPay program handled an estimated $39.7 billion in government spending and roughly 90 million transactions in fiscal year 2024, and the pilot contract reportedly at stake was valued at up to $25 million. A competitor's blog post alleges an incident in which an automated payment failure caused all of a client company's Ramp cards to be frozen for a day, disrupting travel bookings; this account comes from a commercial rival and should be weighed accordingly as a low-confidence, single-source claim. Ramp's own support documentation describes legitimate circumstances under which business accounts or individual cards can be locked, including inactivity and mobile-wallet verification issues.
