Verify a decision

Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.

How verification works

  1. We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction.
  2. We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
  3. You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>

Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

In late February 2026, outlets reported that Bitkraft Ventures invested $3 million in Power Protocol, bringing the project's total funding to approximately $15.4-15.5 million, with participation from Delphi Digital, The Spartan Group, Mechanism Capital and L1D AG. Pixion Games, developer of the mobile action RPG Fableborne, was named as a partner studio integrating with the Power Protocol ecosystem. The token then collapsed by approximately 89.6% to 90.25% within roughly 24 hours, bottoming near $0.17-$0.18, before a partial recovery. Coverage attributes part of the severity of the crash to thin liquidity: PancakeSwap liquidity for POWER was reported at only about $121,000, and Bitget and MEXC were described as lacking sufficient order-book depth to absorb the sell pressure. Reporting on the exact date varies slightly (some pages give March 2-3, 2026; at least one secondary aggregator erroneously labeled the event \"2025\"), but the primary reporting, published March 4, 2026, places the crash in the window from the evening of March 2 to the morning of March 3, 2026.","heading":"March 2026 Price Collapse","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Power Protocol Token Plummets 90% Following Suspected $16M Team Dump (CoinAlertNews)","type":"news_article","url":"https://coinalertnews.com/news/2026/03/04/power-protocol-token-crash-team-dump"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Power protocol crashes by 90 percent (Cryptopolitan)","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.cryptopolitan.com/power-protocol-crashes-by-90-percent/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Power protocol token crashes over 90% in suspected rug pull (CoinStats)","type":"news_article","url":"https://coinstats.app/news/28a7a05fe161d1d843dc9da3e574d3aa2481a0be4e9b1fd6d1aa17685d76b21b_Power-protocol-token-crashes-over-90-in-suspected-rug-pull/"}]},{"content":"On-chain analysts, including the widely-followed Twitter/X account EmberCN, identified a wallet linked to the Power Protocol team that transferred 30 million POWER tokens -- reported at roughly $16.23 million in value at the time -- to the centralized exchanges Bitget and MEXC in the hours surrounding the crash. Reports differ on the specific sending address and split: one account (ChainCatcher, citing on-chain analyst Yu Jin) identifies a multi-signature wallet (abbreviated 0x027A...cd6c) that moved funds between roughly 11 PM and 9 AM, while other coverage cites an address referenced as team-associated transferring approximately 20 million tokens to Bitget and 10 million to MEXC. The requester-supplied address (0x9D70054a57798bc255D8F866F006744fB3A09d63) appears consistent with reporting describing a team-linked or intermediary wallet, but AVOID.NET could not independently confirm this specific address against a primary on-chain source and treats the exact wallet identity as unverified pending direct blockchain confirmation. Multiple outlets report that the team went largely silent after issuing this explanation, has not announced a compensation plan for affected investors, and that launchpad buyers and early holders have reported no recourse. The unverified nature of the \"unauthorized sale\" explanation, combined with the timing immediately after the token's all-time high, has led several outlets to characterize the episode as a suspected insider dump or rug pull, though no regulator or law-enforcement action has been reported and the allegation of intentional fraud remains unproven.","heading":"Project's Response and Alleged Lack of Recourse","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Power protocol crashes by 90 percent (Cryptopolitan)","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.cryptopolitan.com/power-protocol-crashes-by-90-percent/"},{"credibility":3,"name":"power token crash insider dump (OurCryptoTalk)","type":"news_article","url":"https://ourcryptotalk.com/news/power-token-crash-insider-dump"}]}],"sources_used":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Power Protocol Token Plummets 90% Following Suspected $16M Team Dump (CoinAlertNews)","type":"news_article","url":"https://coinalertnews.com/news/2026/03/04/power-protocol-token-crash-team-dump"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Power protocol crashes by 90 percent (Cryptopolitan)","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.cryptopolitan.com/power-protocol-crashes-by-90-percent/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Power protocol token crashes over 90% in suspected rug pull (CoinStats)","type":"news_article","url":"https://coinstats.app/news/28a7a05fe161d1d843dc9da3e574d3aa2481a0be4e9b1fd6d1aa17685d76b21b_Power-protocol-token-crashes-over-90-in-suspected-rug-pull/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Power Protocol (POWER) price crash coverage (ChainCatcher)","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.chaincatcher.com/en/article/2249514"},{"credibility":2,"name":"power protocol crash team dump (Cryptorank news feed)","type":"news_article","url":"https://cryptorank.io/news/feed/5c4ab-power-protocol-crash-team-dump"},{"credibility":3,"name":"power token crash insider dump (OurCryptoTalk)","type":"news_article","url":"https://ourcryptotalk.com/news/power-token-crash-insider-dump"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Power Protocol reaches $15.4M total funding to expand gaming ecosystem (tech.eu)","type":"news_article","url":"https://tech.eu/2026/02/24/power-protocol-raises-3m-from-bitkraft-to-expand-ecosystem/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Power Protocol raises $3M for Web3 token economy (GamesBeat)","type":"news_article","url":"https://gamesbeat.com/power-protocol-raises-3m-for-web3-token-economy/"}],"summary":"Power Protocol is a blockchain gaming infrastructure project behind the POWER token, backed by investors including Bitkraft Ventures, Delphi Digital and Mechanism Capital, and linked to the mobile game Fableborne.
