Verify a decision

Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.

How verification works

  1. We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction.
  2. We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
  3. You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>

Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

However, the same source states that liquidity-pool lock or burn status could not be verified ('no LP evidence'), meaning there is no independent confirmation that liquidity backing the token cannot be withdrawn by its creator. The listing also showed reported 24-hour trading volume of approximately $3 against a stated market capitalization of roughly $117,000 and liquidity of roughly $26,000 at the time of observation — a volume-to-market-cap ratio consistent with a token that has little to no active trading and may be effectively illiquid for holders attempting to sell. These figures come from a single third-party analytics tool rather than a primary on-chain query performed independently for this report, and should be treated as indicative rather than definitive.","heading":"On-Chain Risk Indicators","severity":"high","sources":[{"credibility":3,"name":"MadeOnSol — $OJMAN (ORANGEMAN) token page","type":"on_chain","url":"https://madeonsol.com/token/4epk3XFebLCky1wSsu9uMoPG1Mwz5WDCFyvofnBfRvaa"}]},{"content":"No established news outlet, regulator, law-enforcement body, or research firm appears to have published coverage of ORANGEMAN/$OJMAN. Searches for the token name combined with terms such as 'scam,' 'rug pull,' 'fraud,' and 'lawsuit' did not return any results specific to this token. The absence of coverage may simply reflect that this is a very small, low-profile token rather than evidence of wrongdoing; however, it also means that no independent party has verified claims about the project's legitimacy, team identity, or liquidity arrangements beyond the automated scanner data cited above. Readers should treat any claim about this token's safety or risk as unverified absent further primary-source evidence.","heading":"Lack of Transparency and Absence of Independent Coverage","severity":"medium","sources":[]},{"content":"At least one other, unrelated Solana token sharing the 'Orange Man' name — mint address 5i7j3qcGGABYbmsZUx3GDH9G2qenmooW9Z9AATNwbonk — was separately audited by the firm HashEx in January 2026, which reported revoked update authority but flagged 'medium centralization risk' in token distribution, with a reported market capitalization of roughly $11,800. That token is a distinct deployment from the $OJMAN/ORANGEMAN mint covered in this report (4epk3XFebLCky1wSsu9uMoPG1Mwz5WDCFyvofnBfRvaa) and findings about one should not be assumed to apply to the other. This distinction is noted because meme tokens referencing the same cultural meme or name are frequently relaunched by unrelated or copycat deployers on Solana, which can create confusion for holders checking the wrong contract address.","heading":"Potential for Confusion with Similarly Named Tokens","severity":"low","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"HashEx — Auto-Audit of 'The Orange Man' (OrangeMan) token","type":"research","url":"https://hashex.org/auto-audits/solana/5i7j3qcGGABYbmsZUx3GDH9G2qenmooW9Z9AATNwbonk"}]}],"sources_used":[{"credibility":3,"name":"MadeOnSol — $OJMAN (ORANGEMAN) token page","type":"on_chain","url":"https://madeonsol.com/token/4epk3XFebLCky1wSsu9uMoPG1Mwz5WDCFyvofnBfRvaa"},{"credibility":2,"name":"HashEx — Auto-Audit of 'The Orange Man' (OrangeMan) token","type":"research","url":"https://hashex.org/auto-audits/solana/5i7j3qcGGABYbmsZUx3GDH9G2qenmooW9Z9AATNwbonk"}],"summary":"ORANGEMAN ($OJMAN) is a low-capitalization token on Solana (mint 4epk3XFebLCky1wSsu9uMoPG1Mwz5WDCFyvofnBfRvaa) traded primarily on Raydium.
