Verify a decision

Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.

How verification works

  1. We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction.
  2. We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
  3. You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>

Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

The \"pump\" suffix on the mint address indicates it was created through pump.fun, a permissionless Solana token-launch platform that allows anyone to deploy a token with no vetting. Per Solflare's token page, the token has a total/circulating supply of approximately 999,856,045 to 1,000,000,000 units, a market capitalization that has been observed in the roughly $283,000 to $350,000 range at different snapshot times, liquidity of roughly $112,000 across Solana decentralized exchanges, and 24-hour trading volume as low as $3,500-$3,600 relative to its market cap, indicating thin trading activity. A listing counted approximately 2,650 holders at one snapshot. The same report found that of more than seven million tokens issued on pump.fun since its January 2024 inception, fewer than 97,000 maintained at least $1,000 in liquidity, and that 93% of a sample of liquidity pools on the Raydium exchange (where pump.fun tokens typically graduate to trade) showed signs of sudden, \"soft\" liquidity removal. Pump.fun publicly disputed the Solidus Labs methodology.
