Verify a decision
Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.
How verification works
- We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (
payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction. - We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
- You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is
AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

A small USDC balance of under $2 is also present. On July 31, 2025, approximately 21,000 ETH (valued at roughly $53.2 million at the time) was transferred to address 0xDc02d60466ccEe119e634Bcfa614EdA7a2921814, an externally owned account (EOA) that carried no exchange or protocol label on Etherscan and whose current balance is near zero, suggesting the funds were further dispersed. On December 1, 2025, approximately 2,125.74 stETH (valued at approximately $5.4 million) was transferred to the Lido stETH token contract. These transfers are of institutional scale. The destination of the July 2025 ETH transfer — an unlabeled EOA that subsequently emptied — warrants note, though no public report has linked it to illicit activity. The absence of a public identity for the wallet's beneficial owner means these flows cannot be attributed to a known legitimate or illegitimate party.","heading":"Large Historical Outflows","severity":"medium","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Etherscan: Token Transactions — 0x7C0dB2791af5f7F71a125531b0902917EA0C2bC9","type":"on_chain","url":"https://etherscan.io/address/0x7C0dB2791af5f7F71a125531b0902917EA0C2bC9#tokentxns"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Etherscan: Address 0xDc02d60466ccEe119e634Bcfa614EdA7a2921814","type":"on_chain","url":"https://etherscan.io/address/0xDc02d60466ccEe119e634Bcfa614EdA7a2921814"}]},{"content":"The contract was reportedly funded by address 0x03cd6FeA7CaCA26618391CA9bf4236a27AaBB522, itself also a Safe smart account with approximately 50 transactions. Neither factor is evidence of fraud or illicit activity on its own; institutional treasuries, protocol foundations, and high-net-worth individuals routinely use Safe multisigs and move funds through intermediate wallets. The address has no scam, phishing, or OFAC sanctions labels on any major blockchain intelligence platform reviewed, though it has been involved in very large ETH and stETH transfers that are consistent with sophisticated or institutional-scale operations.
