Verify a decision

Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.

How verification works

  1. We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction.
  2. We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
  3. You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>

Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

The platform offered multi-tier referral/recruitment commissions to participants who brought in new depositors. WikiFX's review of the platform (dated July 2026) described these as the platform's headline terms and noted that returns of this kind are not something regulated financial firms are able to guarantee. A third-party audit published by ForensicBeacon made similar allegations, characterizing the fixed daily-return structure, described there as a 180% cycle over 60 days, as a mathematical impossibility for a legitimately trading entity, and described the platform's marketing around a 'Quantum Analysis' trading engine as unsubstantiated. ForensicBeacon is a single-author blog and its claims should be treated as a low-confidence, unverified audit rather than an independent finding.","heading":"Investment Scheme and Structure","severity":"critical","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"WikiFX review of Winvest","type":"research","url":"https://www.wikifx.com/en/newsdetail/202607287304240551.html"},{"credibility":3,"name":"Winvest: AI Powered Bitcoin Investment Hallucination (ForensicBeacon audit)","type":"community_report","url":"https://forensicbeacon.com/winvest-investment-scam/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Winvest Review: AI trading bot MLM crypto Ponzi (BehindMLM)","type":"research","url":"https://behindmlm.com/mlm-reviews/winvest-review-ai-trading-bot-mlm-crypto-ponzi/"}]},{"content":"BehindMLM, a long-running Ponzi/MLM watchdog site, published an article reporting that Winvest collapsed in October 2026: withdrawals were reportedly disabled around October 17, 2026, and the operating domains went offline around October 27, 2026 — a sequence BehindMLM and other Ponzi trackers typically treat as the end-stage pattern of an exit scam. BehindMLM's article was also referenced in search indexing under the title 'Winvest collapses: withdrawals disabled, websites gone.' As of this investigation, no banking, financial, or law-enforcement regulator has published a statement specifically addressing this October 2026 collapse, and BehindMLM is currently the only identified source reporting these specific events; the exact dates could not be independently corroborated against the original article text, which returned an access error when fetched directly, so they should be treated as reported by a single specialist source rather than confirmed by primary documentation.","heading":"Withdrawal Freeze and Platform Shutdown","severity":"critical","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Winvest collapses: withdrawals disabled, websites gone (BehindMLM)","type":"research","url":"https://behindmlm.com/companies/winvest-collapses-withdrawals-disabled-websites-gone/"}]},{"content":"WikiFX found no valid financial regulatory license for Winvest from any recognized authority and assigned the platform a risk score of 2.05 out of 10. WikiFX also identified a discrepancy in corporate identity: its records associated Winvest with an Argentine-registered company, while the winvest.com website itself claimed a New York corporate identity under the name 'Wealth Invest Corp,' headquartered at One Vanderbilt. A separate third-party audit (ForensicBeacon) stated that a search of New York corporate registries did not return a matching record for 'Wealth Invest Corp,' though this claim comes from a low-authority, single-author source and could not be independently verified in this investigation. The SEC advisory stated that Winvest was not registered with the Commission and was not authorized to solicit investments from the public, and it described the scheme as having the characteristics of a Ponzi scheme, in which money from new investors is used to pay 'fake profits' to earlier investors. According to that advisory, the 2023 Winvest scheme offered account tiers from roughly ₱500 to ₱100,000, promised returns of up to 3.5% over 14 days, used direct-referral and unilevel recruitment bonuses, and claimed its profits came from Binance Futures Trading. These terms differ materially from the 3% daily / 60-day structure reported for the 2026 winvest.com platform, and no source identified in this investigation directly confirms that the 2023 Philippine entity and the 2026 winvest.com platform are the same operator, a relaunch under new branding, or an unrelated operation that reused a similar name. Separately, IOSCO's international securities alert network lists a warning concerning 'Wealth Invest 24' (operating at wealthinvest24.com), issued via the Ontario Securities Commission, which is a different domain from winvest.com.
