Verify a decision
Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.
How verification works
- We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (
payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction. - We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
- You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is
AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

The SFC's entry names roughly 17 associated domains (including polar-tensor.com, polartensor-global.com and polartensor.io) and states that \"Polar Tensor and its websites are not licensed with the SFC to conduct regulated activities in Hong Kong.\" The SFC's general guidance warns that unlicensed virtual-asset platforms may use overly attractive investment offers, false licensing claims, or aggressive social-media promotion, and that investors could lose their entire investment with little recourse if such a platform fails or is hacked. Separately, anti-MLM watchdog site BehindMLM reports that Quebec's Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) warned that Polar Tensor is not registered to solicit investors in the province, and that British Columbia's securities regulator issued a similar warning that the company is not registered there. BehindMLM also reports that Georgia's Department of Banking and Finance issued a cease-and-desist order against a \"Polar Tensor Financial Services\" entity. None of these alerts constitute a court finding of fraud; they reflect regulators' assessments that the entity is unlicensed/unregistered and warrant caution, which experts quoted by the South China Morning Post noted does not by itself prove wrongdoing.","heading":"Regulatory warnings","severity":"critical","sources":[{"credibility":1,"name":"SFC Alert List — Polar Tensor","type":"regulatory","url":"https://www.sfc.hk/en/alert-list/3494"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Polar Tensor securities fraud warning from Canada (QC) — BehindMLM","type":"community_report","url":"https://behindmlm.com/companies/polar-tensor-securities-fraud-warning-from-canada-qc/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Polar Tensor securities fraud warning from Canada (BC) — BehindMLM","type":"community_report","url":"https://behindmlm.com/companies/polar-tensor-securities-fraud-warning-from-canada-bc/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Polar Tensor securities fraud warning from Hong Kong — BehindMLM","type":"community_report","url":"https://behindmlm.com/companies/polar-tensor-securities-fraud-warning-from-hong-kong/"},{"credibility":2,"name":"Polar Tensor financial services C&D from Georgia — BehindMLM","type":"community_report","url":"https://behindmlm.com/companies/polar-tensor-financial-services-cd-from-georgia/"},{"credibility":1,"name":"Crypto platform on alert lists opens Hong Kong office, prompting calls for scrutiny — SCMP","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/hong-kong-economy/article/3371978/crypto-platform-alert-lists-opens-hong-kong-office-prompting-calls-scrutiny"}]},{"content":"Polar Tensor markets itself as an AI-driven cryptocurrency trading platform that pays investors a return on deposited funds, combined with a multi-level-marketing referral/recruitment component. BehindMLM's review of the scheme concludes that the only verifiable source of revenue entering Polar Tensor is new investor deposits, and that the \"AI\" trading the company claims to run has never been independently demonstrated. A Medium article describes a Swiss model-maker who reported losing approximately $470,000 to the platform; this figure comes from a single first-person account and has not been independently corroborated, so it should be treated as a low-confidence, individual claim rather than a verified total. BehindMLM reports that this persona has at times been portrayed by a live actor and at other times represented by what the outlet describes as an AI-generated avatar, and states it could not independently verify that Bick is a real person or that he holds any genuine ownership or executive role. A separate fraud-investigation site (polartensorscam.com) makes similar allegations. Conversely, some Trustpilot reviews under the Polar Tensor listing assert the CEO is a real person and not an AI model; these reviews are unverified, unmoderated user submissions and several display patterns (clustering of five-star ratings) consistent with promotional activity. In late October 2026, BehindMLM reported that Polar Tensor had informed investors it was disabling withdrawals, following months of declining website traffic and shrinking weekly payout percentages (reportedly around 0.1% between 19 and 23 October 2026); the outlet characterizes this as the beginning of a Ponzi collapse and predicts the operator may follow with a \"we got hacked\" exit narrative. Trustpilot reviews posted around the same period describe withdrawal requests stuck in \"KYC review\" and site outages. None of these claims about an October domain loss or a specific October DDoS attack could be independently corroborated beyond BehindMLM's reporting and user complaints; the requester's claim of an October 2026 domain loss was not confirmed by available sources, which instead point to a June 2026 domain dispute and a late-October withdrawal freeze.","heading":"Domain disruption and withdrawal freeze","severity":"critical","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"Polar Tensor Ponzi collapses, withdrawals disabled — BehindMLM","type":"community_report","url":"https://behindmlm.com/companies/polar-tensor-ponzi-collapses-withdrawals-disabled/"},{"credibility":3,"name":"Polar Tensor Reviews — Trustpilot","type":"social_media","url":"https://www.trustpilot.com/review/polar-tensor.com"}]},{"content":"Despite its presence on the SFC's alert list since August 2026, Polar Tensor opened a physical office at One Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, reportedly in August 2026, which the South China Morning Post described as prompting calls for greater regulatory scrutiny of firms that maintain a public presence while flagged as suspicious. SCMP reporters found the office closed on a later August visit and found it locked with no one answering during an October 2026 visit. The SCMP reported that Polar Tensor's registered Hong Kong corporate entity remained listed as active as of its reporting, and that Hong Kong police said they had received no reports concerning the company at that time.
