Verify a decision
Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.
How verification works
- We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (
payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction. - We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
- You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is
AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

The platform launched in beta in January 2018 and grew to support trading in over 80 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, denominated in Singapore dollars. The parent entity, AmazingTech Pte Ltd (ATPL), also expanded into Malaysia, receiving regulatory approval from the Securities Commission of Malaysia in April 2020. Tokenize Xchange operated under a temporary exemption from Singapore's Payment Services Act 2019 while its application for a Major Payment Institution licence was pending with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). ATPL was required to immediately cease providing digital payment token services, wind down in an orderly manner, and return all customer monies and digital assets. Following customer complaints in July 2025 regarding withdrawal delays, MAS identified indications that ATPL lacked adequate assets to satisfy customer claims, may have failed to properly segregate customer assets from company funds, and had made false representations about its asset segregation practices during the licence application process. On 1 August 2025, MAS and the Singapore Police Force's Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) issued a joint statement announcing a formal investigation into ATPL and related entities for potential offences. The action is filed as HC/OC 984/2025 and is led by six named claimants on behalf of 272 account holders. The claimants allege fraudulent misrepresentation on multiple grounds: that Tokenize Xchange did not operate a genuine central limit order book (allegedly using a Binance-sourced order book with a mark-up instead), that the platform did not segregate customer assets despite contractual promises to hold them in trust, and that the defendants misrepresented the platform's MAS licensing status. An alternative claim of unlawful conspiracy is also pleaded. On 10 April 2026, Deputy Registrar Teo Guan Siew rejected the defendants' applications for an arbitration stay, ruling that the case should proceed in open court (citation: Low Jun Hong and others v Hong Qi Yu and another [2026] SGHCR 11).
