Verify a decision

Every moderation decision on AVOID.NET is anchored to the Solana blockchain. You don't have to trust us — you can verify cryptographically that we committed to a verdict at a specific moment and have not rewritten it.

How verification works

  1. We commit. When a moderator accepts/rejects a submission, we serialize the decision into deterministic UTF-8 bytes (payload_canonical_string), hash it with SHA-256, encode the digest as base58, and write it to Solana inside an SPL Memo v2 transaction.
  2. We store the bytes. The exact bytes we hashed are stored alongside the decision in our database. Anyone can read them and recompute the hash in any language.
  3. You compare three values. Database hash, your independently-recomputed hash, and the hash inside the on-chain memo. If all three match, the decision is authentic and timestamped.
The on-chain memo format is AVOID.NET|v1|h:<b58-sha256>|d:<id>|t:<iso>

Find a signature on any investigation page's decision log, or run python -m src.verify_decision --signature <sig> for a CLI check.

Sources give inconsistent founding years for the company (2019, 2020, or 2022 depending on the source), which suggests inconsistent self-reporting rather than a verified incorporation date. Phil Kwok has previously founded two marketplace startups and worked at the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell; he holds a law degree from Cambridge. CEO Phil Kwok stated an independent valuation was obtained because the company intends to go public via direct listing. However, the valuation announcement originated from the company itself, and at least one outlet (Altcoinbuzz) explicitly noted that the figure is \"a valuation the company announced for itself,\" that there is no public share price or filing to check it against, and that the SEC registration remains confidential. Altcoinbuzz also flagged inconsistencies in company-reported figures, including differing user-count numbers (a stated \"over 1 million users\" versus a live website counter showing 1,321,532) and differing lists of named partners across EasyA's own materials. A separate press release discussing the founders' net worth was explicitly marked as a paid press release. These inconsistencies and the self-reported, promotional nature of the valuation claim warrant treating the $1.1 billion figure as unverified.","heading":"Self-announced $1.1 billion valuation and lack of independent verification","severity":"medium","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"EasyA Becomes a $1.1 Billion Unicorn Ahead of Proposed Public Listing","type":"news_article","url":"https://pro.edgex.exchange/en-US/news/article/easya-1-1-billion-valuation-public-listing"},{"credibility":2,"name":"EasyA Hits $1.1B Valuation and Wants Its Shares Tokenized","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/easya-hits-1-1b-valuation-and-wants-its-shares-tokenized"},{"credibility":3,"name":"Phil and Dom Kwok Now Worth $1.1 Billion as EasyA Reaches Unicorn Valuation (press release)","type":"other","url":"https://www.webdisclosure.com/press-release/phil-and-dom-kwok-now-worth-11-billion-as-easya-reaches-unicorn-valuation-dqnY0OZMIm1"}]},{"content":"EasyA announced, via a release dated around September 25, 2026, that it had confidentially submitted a draft Form F-1 registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed direct listing of its ordinary shares. Confidential draft submissions under SEC rules are a legitimate, commonly used pathway for companies preparing to go public, and do not themselves indicate wrongdoing. Coverage citing CoinDesk-sourced reporting indicates the company is targeting a listing in the first half of 2027, subject to SEC review, market conditions, and other factors; the listing is explicitly stated not to be an offer to sell securities. Separately, EasyA co-founder and COO Dom Kwok has said that tokenizing the company's shares is \"definitely on the roadmap,\" alongside plans to roll out AI agents over the following 12 to 24 months. As of the most recent reporting found, EasyA had not disclosed mechanics for the tokenization plan, including which blockchain would be used, how tokens would be issued, or where they would trade; one outlet described this as \"an intention with nothing shipped behind it\" and contrasted it with slower-moving, more detailed tokenized-equity efforts from larger financial institutions.","heading":"Proposed SEC direct listing and tokenized-shares plan","severity":"low","sources":[{"credibility":2,"name":"EasyA Announces Confidential Submission of Draft Registration Statement for Proposed Direct Listing","type":"official","url":"https://secure.businesswire.com/news/home/20260925567709/en/EasyA-Announces-Confidential-Submission-of-Draft-Registration-Statement-for-Proposed-Direct-Listing"},{"credibility":2,"name":"EasyA files SEC registration for 2027 direct listing at $1.1B valuation","type":"news_article","url":"https://phemex.com/news/article/easya-files-sec-registration-for-2027-direct-listing-at-11b-valuation-99872"},{"credibility":2,"name":"EasyA Hits $1.1B Valuation and Wants Its Shares Tokenized","type":"news_article","url":"https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/easya-hits-1-1b-valuation-and-wants-its-shares-tokenized"}]},{"content":"Searches for regulatory enforcement actions, lawsuits, user fraud complaints, or substantiated scam allegations specifically against EasyA did not return any results.
